FORT WAYNE PARKVIEW FIELD OWNERS OUT TO LUNCH

PARKVIEW FIELD, owned by Hardball Capital LLC, attempt to strip you of YOUR rights!

Take a look at the photo below. Ya', that's me.

Do you see a difference in the wording?

Allow me to refresh the memories for those who have not read some of my prior posts.

I refer you to Indiana Code 35-47.11.1-3

The state of Indiana has a "Firearm Preemption Law" which states no political subdivision, city or municipality may enact or pass laws or ordinances that are more restrictive than current state law.

The "NO SMOKING"  sign IS state law and the sign indicates this. Notice the handgun ban sign does NOT have the words "State law Prohibits."

In other words, the "NO HAND GUNS" sign at Parkview Field have no "force of law".

What this means to law abiding Indiana residents is this; if you are legally licensed to carry a hand gun, you can not be arrested at Fort Wayne's Parkview Field for carrying a hand gun.

NOTE: Any private business has the right to ask you to leave for not obeying their rules. Refusal to leave at their request invites a trespassing charge.

In a way this is all quite a shame as I at one time enjoyed taking in a game or two at Parkview Field.
No longer will I attend their games as long as management places me at risk by inviting criminals WITH guns to come into this place where they (criminals) believe no one has a way to defend themselves.

Ask yourself a simple question;

If these signs were present at the Newtown school in Connecticut; do you think such signage would have stopped Adam Lanza?

There are (3) ways to vote in this country.

1) THE BALLOT BOX
2) YOUR FEET
3) YOUR WALLET

Number one is out as it applies to Parkview Field where I have no say who owns or operates this facility.
Number two is available to all Americans. People who live in rights restrictive states have the freedom to leave and find other states where liberty prevails.

Number three, the one I will exercise is the simple act of NOT spending your money at places that attempt to trample constitutional rights or worse, taking away the Constitutional Right AND state right to defend yourself.

Walmart understood this concept well as they re-instated the words MERRY CHRISTMAS in their stores after Christians stood up and voiced their intent to boycott if MERRY CHRISTMAS remained a banned phrase at the Walmart stores.
The financial fallout of not doing so would have damaged their bottom line.

 This is Parkview Field

Imagine if you will, a disturbed person with evil intent is sitting close by to you and decides to just start shooting. "Can't happen in Fort Wayne" you say"? "I feel pretty safe here" you say?

I'm sure the parents of the slain children who attended the Newtown school felt the same comfy security you feel when they hugged & kissed them for the last time that morning.  Anyone who believes  "It can't happen here"  is living in fantasy land.

Parkview Field has a seating capacity of 8,100. I have never seen 8,100 law enforcement officers in attendance during a Tincaps baseball game.

While these signs are placed and endorsed by the the owners of Parkview Field, it is time for the City of Fort Wayne to stand up and say "TAKE THEM DOWN!"

Fort Wayne has been called the "City of Churches", where we believe Life and Liberty are not only granted to us by the United States Constitution, but by a far higher power; God Himself gave us these rights!

The owners of Parkview Field with such a liberal mindset remain clueless to the facts.
They feel such signs provide a safer environment for their guests when in fact they invite potential disaster!

I for one will contact Hardball Capital AND management of the Fort Wayne Tincaps to voice my displeasure concerning these signs as well as letting them know my money will NOT be spent at Parkview Field until the signs come down.

I was unable to find a email address for the owners of Parkview field but here is their snail mail address:

Hardball Capital Llc
984 Foxcroft Road
Atlanta, GA 30327

Here are the names for management of the Tincaps:

Brian Schackow Vice President - Sales & Finance Schackow@TinCaps.com

Michael Limmer Vice President - Marketing & Promotions Limmer@TinCaps.com
