The Roman empire lasted approx 700 years, depending on how one determines the start of the empire.
The Ottoman empire..600 years
Middle Eastern Empires...4,000-7000 yrs. (Name changes and social evolution)
Perhaps we now see the United States is a VERY young country.
In this short span of time, we have achieved great things; until recently.
Many people now bury their heads in the sand, not knowing or caring what has happened to this once blessed by God country.
Why? What has happened to cause such upheaval not seen until very recently?
Even the most elementary look at what we were compared to what we are reveals a obvious deep erosion in many areas; morality, technical and scientific excellence, financial, love of country.
I need not belabor the point that so many areas of life in the United States have slid into the abyss of
apathy. Our youth are more concerned about the latest Apple product to be released than knowing who their representatives are.
So, either everything is fine, you are happy with your life, or; you too are deeply disturbed by current events of the past 5 years, or as of today's date 6/27/2015, of the last 2 weeks!
The speed at which we as a country have slid into such immorality is mind boggling.
It is easy to point fingers at our politicians. Sorry; they are not to blame.
Perhaps the socialists? No; not them either.
I know, those darn communist infiltrators! Sorry, try again.
ANYONE can find problems. Anyone can complain. Anyone can find fault.
I have yet to meet any who can find the answer within our government.
Representative government no longer exists. I give you the last general election where "so called" conservative republicans were swept into office in BOTH houses as evidence. They hold the majority, yet they have done NOTHING to begin the restoration process to make us a NATION UNDER GOD!
Could it be the answer is beyond flesh and blood?
Christians who understand biblical prophecy understand precisely what is happening.
We were given a road map.
Oh wait. You don't believe God or Satan EXIST?
In that case, I welcome your email to explain this recent rapid degradation in all things that made us a once great country.
So who's to blame?
THE PEOPLE!
I always get a kick out of people I talk to who refer to the U.S Government as though it were a entity, un-connected to anyone...just kinda' running on it's own.
Call me crazy, but I always thought WE were the government?
I find it more than a coincidence how our country was founded upon Godly principles, with the majority of signers of the Declaration of Independence proclaiming their love for God AND identifying themselves as CHRISTIAN!
I also find it interesting, every time without fail, when God is pushed aside for some special interest group or because someone feels offended by Christianity, a corresponding rise in immorality, crime, cheating; all sorts of things sane people consider sick, also rises.
Every time in our history when God is pushed aside when considering social issues; something bad soon follows, be it natural disaster or planes crashing into our tallest buildings killing thousands.
Can this erosion be stopped? Can we be restored as a nation?
I don't see it. Sure, we may ebb and flow with pockets of national hope; though the bell curve is averaging out to a complete break down of this nation when we look at it over time.
The stage is well set. Millions walk around oblivious and deceived.
They either refuse to look at the truth or a deception has been cast upon them; perhaps both.
God has clearly revealed to His people concerning one who will rise in human form.
He has ALL the answers
He is known as the Anti-Christ.
For three and a half years he will be wonderful to those who can not see or refuse to see the truth.
He has all the answers to all their problems. Millions will adore and follow him.
After his first three and a half years, hell will be unleashed upon the people like the world has never known! These muslim extremists who are beheading christians will look like choir boys compared to the anti christ.
Although I have faith in the Son of God, even my logic sees how we are ripe for this now!
There is only one answer
How else can one explain what we are seeing? Not only in this country; all over the planet.
Weather systems that baffle our brightest minds, famine, brutality that was once reserved for TV movies are now played out in real life. A president who scoffs at the law..a Supreme court who no longer follow the constitution.
Conservatives, republicans, democrats? They have well demonstrated they do not have the answers!
I'm voting for a theocracy! ONE GOD! ONE CHRIST! ONE HOLY SPIRIT!
I will speak truth where I can; right a wrong when I see one; defend the weak against injustice to guarantee their right to LIFE and LIBERTY, love this country..because
All these things were not created nor made my man, they are GOD given rights!
I'm not perfect, but I know one who is. I will do what I can when and where I can.
For all the rest, well, I'll let Him handle it and not worry about it.
The stage is set, most of the actors have found their mark, the lights strike the stage showing clearly who the players are, the good and the evil, the audience is now gathered in heaven waiting for God; the director, to pull back the curtain for the final act.
I can hardly wait!
